Rena runs away from her mother, Westa, as she heads to the Sacred Forest. Suddenly, she is attacked and protected by Claude C. Kenny, and brings him to Arlia with her. After presenting him to her mother, she quickly warns the town's mayor, Regis, about the appearance of the "Hero of Light": Claude. Regis and Rena tell Claude about the late events on Expel, and how they are sure he is the hero of light. Claude then tries to explain that he is no hero, but never revealing any details of his story, since that would heavily contradict the Underdeveloped Planet Preservation Pact.
