The idea being that if one nation "fell" to the commies, then those nearby would "fall" and so on and so on. Therefore we had to nip the commie hordes in their commie buds. It did not work. Then again neither did communism. And here we are. Here is my question: Is what Bush doing in Iraq a sort of domino theory in reverse? A preemptive domino theory.
