The Exterminator-class war robot was an Ingzan commander droid/battle droid which was designed to command other units and were also deployed as elite soldiers. Specialised variants existed like Anti-Tank, Sniper, Spec-Ops and Marine Exterminators. Exterminators were high-level robots with advanced AI programming which made them sentient, so they were treated like people by their organic creators.
