Tak Sakaguchi (坂口拓 Sakaguchi Taku) is an actor, director, screenwriter, and action coordinator. He was a street fighter when he met director Ryūhei Kitamura. Not knowing many accomplished actors, Kitamura asked Sakaguchi to star in his first major film Versus for his natural fighting skill even though he had never acted before. The film was highly successful considering its extremely low budget and launched both of their careers in the Japanese film industry.
