Due to the general acceptance of the usage-based model as the underlying principle of the storing of information in constructional networks in construction grammar, many construction grammarians - especially those based in Europe - have come to appreciate language corpora as valuable ingredients in their linguistic research. As a result of this, several useful corpus-based statstical methods, like collostructional analysis and reliance-attraction analysis, have been developed.
