She has also appeared in The Royal, The Royal Today, Shameless, Waterloo Road and Where the Heart Is. In 2007, Hayley took part in the second series of Soapstar Superstar and becoming the runner-up. In 2010, she took part in the fifth series of Dancing on Ice, going on to become the champion of that series. She returned for the show's final ninth series; an All-Star series, in 2014. In 2013, Hayley joined the cast of Coronation Street, playing the role of Andrea Beckett, a college friend of Steve McDonald. She made her final appearance on Coronation Street in September 2015.
