Shunning is a spell used to deflect attention away from the caster, an object, or a location. Shade used this magic while sneaking up on a Seeker who had been spying on the Gryphon. The spell does not cause silence, however, and when Shade accidentally made some noise, the Seeker attacked him. A much more powerful version of this spell surrounds the Manor, making it difficult to find in Dagora Forest. More notably, the shunning spell creates an invisible barrier around the Manor grounds, making it impossible to enter for all but the most powerful of wizards.
