The Tempest Tongs is a fictional magical item appearing once in the Venture Bros. television show (in I Know Why the Caged Bird Kills. by Dr. Orpheus for demon extraction. However, the one time he is seen using them, the effort fails. The use of the Tongs serves only to provoke the oni plaguing Dr. Venture, telekinetically thrashing him about. Dr. Orpheus is surprised by this and suggests the demon came to right some wrong that Dr. Venture had committed.
