Elven shamans can be found on floor 5a in the Slayerdungeon of Prifddinas, which is one of the rooms the player may enter after passing floor 4. Elven shamans drop a variety of Summoning ingredients which makes them worth killing. If a player tries to attack the shamans with a familiar present, they'll take control of the player's familiar and have the familiar attack the player. The player cannot dismiss the familiar until the shaman is dead, after which the familiar is free of the shaman's control.
