A rat captain and aide of Badrang the Tyrant at Fort Marshank, Gurrad was not particularly sharp and often fell victim to his slaves' bids for freedom. Badrang ordered him to take a flask of poisoned grog to Tramun Clogg. Gurrad left, but, wearing a dark cloak at the time, was unfortunately mistaken for Badrang by Clogg's assassin, Oilback, and knifed.
