The Desert Quarry Hunter area is located in the Kharidian Desert, and subject to the desert heat effect. Players wishing to hunt in this area are therefore advised to bring protection, such as waterskins and runes for the Lunar spell Humidify or an enchanted water tiara, which both nullify the desert heat damage, or a Tome of Frost, which reduces it by around 80%. Alternatively, completing the quest Crocodile Tears provides total immunity to desert heat damage.
