Naval Bud first appears in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. In the game, this foe tries to attack Blue Yoshi by stretching itself to Blue Yoshi in order for attacking him with it's spiky thorns. Aside that, these foes cannot be defeated unless their mother, Naval Piranha, is defeated.
