The Normandy is the pinnacle of scout frigate design. It was in development by SIN for over 40 years before being loaned to Kyuubi Solo. His mission to stop Lord Raze was the Normandy's first combat mission, and was a great success. Since SIN's agents made up the crew, they decided to let Kyuubi captain the ship so they could keep an eye on him. Since the Normandy’s design proved useful in field tests, it is expected that a follow-up class incorporating "lessons learned" will be produced.
