The Jerbilrats were a group of small mouselike rats, who lived in the deserts north of Loamhedge Abbey and had a habit of harassing travelers. They had golden-brown fur on the majority of their bodies, white fur on their stomachs, dark, brown eyes and long tails, and they wore cloaks made of grass. Many of the Jerbilrats were continually carried off by the buzzards that shared their home.
