Shellfish were small sea creatures. The largest of the shellfish native to the tropical planet Anantapar could fit inside the palm of a Human hand. Shellfish came in a variety of colors, including green, and were even painted for display. Additionally, most of their species were edible by Humans, though shellfish from Pamina Prime weren't; ingesting them could cause a fatal disease called Borotavi syndrome. Naboo shellfish were served as an appetizer at the Indigo Tower and was one of Haydnat Treen's favorite dishes.
