The Gates of Heaven is an inn located in the Kandori city of Canluum. It is generally considered the best inn in the city and consists of four stories. It is located at the foot of Stag's Stand, the tallest hill in the city, in an upmarket area with many shops and eateries catering to the nobility and rich merchant classes. In 979 NE, it's proprietor was Master Helvin and among the staff was a stableman named Kazin. Moiraine Damodred was one of six Aes Sedai staying at the inn in early 979 NE. She met Cadsuane Melaidhrin here and narrowly evaded being detained and questioned by her.
