Indiana was a state of the United States of America. It was the 19th state admitted to the Union, attaining statehood in 1816. On Doomsday, the state capital, and the state's largest city, Indianapolis was destroyed by two air bursts above downtown and on the north side. A small air burst also decimated downtown Fort Wayne. Air bursts also decimated the northwest cities of Gary and Michigan City as part of multiple strikes on the Chicago area. The town of Jeffersonville, Indiana was also destroyed during the strike on Louisville, Kentucky.
