A strong tornado outbreak take place in North Italy during the afternoon and the evening hours of 7th July 2017, causing severe damage to Veneto and Friuli regions. They were recorded 8 tornadoes across the 2 regions, accompanied by very large hail, up to 9cm., and severe wind gust,especially in Mestre and Venice, were winds of 150 km/h caused severe damage and 12 people were injured.
