Gathis was a being from a race akin to Goblins though of more refined features. He was the last of his race and was also a servant of the Lost God of magic Sarig. It was his duty to serve whomever was the current avatar or agent of Sarig. As such he served Macros on Sorcerer's Isle acting as his majordomo. He was the keeper of the shrine of Sarig on Sorcerer's Isle and revealed it to Pug after Macros had died battling Maarg the Demon King. It is unknown what happened to Gathis after the Serpentwar it is presumed that he died.
