Morgothal, brother to Urûr, was the god of fire of the dwarves' religion. As such, he was also the patron god of the smiths. During the population of Alagaësia he and his brother combined their knowledge, to create the dragons. According to the dwarven priest Gannel, the two brothers couldn't exist without each other. Following their death, dwarves are said to dine in Morgothal's hall.
