Heather MacGillvray was a consulting producer on the first season of JONAS, and also wrote four episodes. Previously she has wrote for 8 Simple Rules, The Carebears Adventure in Wonderland, and Half & Half. In 2005, she was nominated for a BET Comedy Award for Outstanding Writing For a Comedy Series.
