The Hovet ("the Court"), formerly known as the Johanneshovs Isstadion, is an arena in Stockholm, Sweden. Opened in 1955, it was completed only seven years later, in 1962. The Hovet serves primarily for ice hockey events, being the home of two of the most prominent clubs of the history of Swedish hockey, Djurgårdens IF of the Elitserien and AIK of the Allsvenskan. Skarpnäcks AIK of the Swedish Division 2 also regularly plays home games there. The official capacity of the arena is 8,300 spectators when configured for hockey.
