The Trois Rivieres Flambeaux were a junior team. They played in the Quebec Junior Hockey League in 1954-55. They finished third and lost the final. On August 20,1955, the Trois Rivieres Lions were admitted into the minor pro Quebec Hockey League. The Flambeaux were then disbanded. This also marked the end of the Quebec Junior Hockey League.
