The Broken Valley was the name given to the lake-filled valley north of the city of Sobrik on the planet Balmorra that was the site of Bugtown, formerly known as the Farnel Research Facility. The southern part of the valley was filled by a lake, and it was linked to the larger body of water to the north by a river that ran along the eastern side of the valley to the mouth, circling the research facility.
