Armsmaster Desmond Lord Gorice is the fleet commander of the Knights of Genetic Purity whose disparaging remarks about all those who are not pure Human guarantee that the half-Heavy Worlder Dylan Hunt will not see him as a potential ally. He has the Knights' standard biased views and believes that the Nietzschean Messiah will unite the Prides into an undefeatable force. Desmond is played by David Lovgren.
