In 1945 a German bomber crashes on the Icelandic Vatnajokull glacier. Puzzlingly, there are both German and American officers on board. In 1999 the US Army is secretively trying to remove an aeroplane from the Vatnajokull glacier. But when young Icelander, Kristín, becomes involved, her pursuit to discover the truth puts her in great danger as she searches for the key to the riddle of Operation Napoleon and the fate of her missing brother.
