Daniel Veers born on Bespin, is the brother of the deceased Maximilian Veers. Daniel began his military career at the age of 16, when he and his brother enlisted in the Empire's youth camp located on Bespin. Although he was favored of the two brothers, Daniel began drinking, and eventually abandoned the Empire at the age of 18. About 9 years later, Veers returned to the Empire, and completed school. Some time later, Daniel was recognized for his service in the early Battle for Yavin, and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.
