Beau is the older brother of Jackson. When Jackson and Sookie was preparing for the birth of their son, Davey, Beau took off from work and stayed with them in Stars Hollow to help with the preparations. When both Davey and Martha were baptized a few years later, he stayed at the Dragonfly Inn. When Jackson was also baptized, he stepped in as the acting godfather. His cousin Rune mistakenly told him that Lorelai Gilmore was a nympho, and hit on her during his stay.
