Kakrafoon was the location of a Tholian attack which broke the truce between the Tholian Assembly and the United Federation of Planets in the 2250s. Alex Dumant aboard the USS Crazy Horse was killed in the Tholian attack. (EV comic: "Nor Iron Bars a Cage") The name Kakrafoon is a reference to a planet of the same name in The Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.
