Once erected, the construction of a Tiberium Ballistic Missile begins. It encompasses three distinct stages, so that the longer the missile is left to build, the more powerful it becomes. At its basic level, the missile is just a big explosive and does a good amount of damage, but in the second stage Tiberium vapor pods are attached, creating a large, corrosive and damaging cloud at the blast site. If the missile is allowed to build up to the maximum level, it gains a Tiberium catalyst which, when detonated, reacts with a nuclear warhead inside the missile causing lethal damage to units and structures alike.
