Bill England is a lawyer from Providence. Many members of his family also practiced law, and his father was a judge in the Providence District Court. England is a member of the Communist Party, and became the first Communist Governor of Providence in the 2082 elections when he defeated Steve Steel. In the 2090 elections, he lost to Labor party candidate, Samuel Ribeiro.
