The "Igualda Falls" was a waterfall on the edge of Narnmor, a mountain on the edge of the Spine near Carvahall and was half a mile high. However, a trail exists to the top from Carvahall, and Sloan's wife, Ismira, was in the Spine after following this trail to pick wild flowers when she accidentally slipped and fell from the top of the waterfall. This is why Sloan despised the area and may be related to why he disliked selling meat to Eragon's family. When most of the villagers left to stay in the Spine they stayed near this area and this was the event that forced Katrina to decide between being loyal to Roran or Sloan, an event that probably caused Sloan to betray the villagers to the Ra'zac.
