The First Battle of Kuras IV ended the Kurasian Rebellion, when agents of the Muir Corporation and the Solace Colony, along with the Ryn Freyel and independents Arelim Seron and Jag'Tai Vroenik, attacked and defeated the crime lord Breggar Lark and his organization. The fighting began on the ground when Jag'Tai and Arelim confronted Lark; the Kurasians assisted the mercenary and the bounty hunter in attacking Lark's personnel. Soldiers from the Purgatory's Escape, led by Tieradeff Jaggeron, were sent down to join the fray, as well as a number of agents of the Muir Corporation. The battle on the ground ultimately resulted in Breggar Lark's death, when Jag'Tai Vroenik shot him as the crime lord attempted to draw a concealed weapon.
