Joe Weisberg is the creator, writer, and executive producer of the The Americans. Joe Weisberg grew up in Chicago. He worked in the CIA’s Directorate of Operations in the early 1990’s. After leaving the Agency, he wrote the novels 10th Grade and An Ordinary Spy. He was a staff writer on the first two seasons of TNT’s Falling Skies.
