Bob Rose is a former NASCAR driver from Inglewood, CA. He competed in six Nextel Cup Series events in his career. Rose's debut came in 1954, when he competed at Gardena. Qualifying last (32nd) in the field, Rose didn't fare much better in the race as a late crash left him a disappointing 22nd. Rose's best year would have to wait until he returned for a two-race schedule in 1957. He started off solid at Sacramento, starting last but completing all but six laps to finish a career-best 12th. He also nearly bettered that at San Jose, but a late crash doomed Rose to 15th.
