The Carleton Ravens hockey team started in the Ottawa-St. Lawrence Conference (OSLC) in 1950-51 until and played most seasons until 1967-68. In 1960-61 they spent one year in the Ottawa Intercollegiate Hockey League, which only lasted one year. They transferred to the Quebec-Ontario Athletic Association (QOAA) in 1968-69 and remained until the conference ended in 1970-71. In 1971-72 they joined the Ontario Universities Athletic Association (OUAA) once the Ontario and Quebec conferences were re-organized along provincial lines. The program folded after the 1973-74 season. In 2008-09 they re-joined the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) conference.
