The Tyrannosaurus rex footprint is one of the only footprints of a Tyrannosaurus Rex on the planet. It is located just a few miles north of Six Mile Gate and just a few south of Indian Writings Camp. The Footprint is located just west of the main trail, on a hillside. The Foot itself is protected from the elements by a large fenced in cage and a sheet metal roof. Also accompanying the print is a plaque. Participants who know about the print may venture to it with their ranger or trek advisers.
