Ghostbusters Film Merchandise Wave was based on features of the Ghostbusters actors. Since it predates the Real Ghostbusters, the green ghost is not named "Slimer", though sometimes it is called Onionhead (as he's listed in the first movie's end credits). It didn't have a toy line at the time, so most of it was promotional items and one offs. One of the interesting things to come from this was the Ghostbusters Role-Playing Game Series. It is should be noted that most items only show the original three ghostbusters and do not include Winston Zeddemore. The wave was active from 1984 through 1987.
