Broketooth, Odd-eye, and Silvermane were wolves of the barrenlands of Kurald Galain. When the Deniers went on the hunt, these particular wolves joined in the slaughter and were recognised by the Tiste on sight. The Deniers imagined the wolves had named their Tiste companions in turn with such apt monikers as "Fartwind", "Prickpump", and "Nubhide".
