Recourses are research-driven courses. Initially it was not intended that there should be conventional didactic "courses" (schedules and prescribed reading lists approved by academic boards). "Recourses" could try to foster a particular intellectual relationship between guru/specialist/expert and another - perhaps less specialised or younger - individual searcher for truth. Rather than having a fixed schedule the "path" of the recourse would respond or change according to the needs of the (re)searcher. Finals assessment - if used at all - would be by a panel of specialists who would take into account the individual "path" of the (re)searcher (a log of the "conversation" between the specialist and the (re)searcher).
