Run left, and try to triple jump on the left corner. If you move fast enough, you can beat the thwump before it comes. Keeping with as much momentum as possible, walljump off the right side of the shaft and then jump off again to beat the second thwump, then walljump a third time off the left wall to exit. If you can't do this, then instead bait out each thwump, wait for the thwump to start to recede back into its hole, then quickly walljump upwards.
