The Chocobo Rush and Friend abilities are based upon the user's magick stat, benefiting the Black Mage and Time Mage as support jobs. Although the Friend A-Ability affects an area just as wide a Summoner, it is far from reliable as it summons random summons (similar to the Call command in Final Fantasy V), which can lead to outcomes like healing foes and hurting allies in a large area. If utilized by magick-focused jobs with elemental absorbing shields made possible via the Shield Bearer passive ability, the Animist can narrow the chances of self harm from summons.
