Gunner Happ is a young boy who is also the son of murdered Lieutenant Commander Oliver Happ and civilian housewife Katie Happ. In addition to that, Gunner was recently diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis type II, a disease that has tumors developing in a section of the brain with the only treatment being surgery due to the fact that Gunner had a tumor wrapped around his facial nerve. It was also revealed that Gunner even admired his father and sought to wear his father's helmet for Halloween.
