Bud Harrelson is the 12th manager for the Mets. He started his playing career with the Mets from 1965-1977. After retiring he then became the coach as part of the 1986 team. From 1990-1991 he became the manager for the Mets. Bud was later then fired with just 7 games to go into the 1991 season.
