The Lalandos was a small river near the village of Abrostola. Its waters were critical the farmer's of the village. When a smith named Demetrios built a mill that took too much water, a farmer named Theodore invoked the Farmers' Law to force Demetrios to shut the mill down. A year later, the frustrated Demetrios murdered Theodore.
