The Battle of Sal Maro, also known as the First Battle of Sal Maro, took place in the early months of 46 ABY. The Galactic Alliance moved in elements of the second and fifth fleet against Sal Maro for being very Jedi-friendly. The Battle of Sal Maro was not the first battle in the Galactic Purge, but it was the first the Supreme Commander watched over.
