As his HP depletes in battle, the power of the weapon will increase. At full health, he will deal 100% damage. When his health falls to yellow it increases to 150%. At critical (red) health, the destroyer mace deals 200%, or twice normal damage. It can be bought at the weapon shop in the Moon That Never Sets.
