An alchemy smock is a cloak that provides acid resistance, poison resistance, and MC1. This resistance will even protect when eating poisonous and acidic corpses. Note that monsters will not get acid resistance from an alchemy smock, only poison resistance. An unidentified apron is always an alchemy smock. In SLASH'EM this is replaced by the better (higher Magic cancellation) Lab coat .
