Jar Todur was a Jedi Master and a member of the Jedi High Council during the Great Sovereign Crusades. When relations between the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic became strained following the beginning of the holy war carried out by the Bendu Order and the Shadourian Order, the Jedi Council sent Jar to meet with Supreme Chancellor Cos Jonathan Dashin and Supreme Commander Joshua Reytel. However, Dashin and Reytel believed that Jar was ill-equipped to handle the situation so they forced him to return to the Jedi Temple in disgrace.
