One of Brent's first appearances on Channel Awesome was guest starring in the Nostalgia Critic's review of Moulin Rouge, while also composing most of the songs from that same review. He later reappeared with Uncle Yo in the Baby Geniuses 2 review and imitated Russell Crowe-as-Javert in (as well as wrote the songs for) the Les Misérables review. He returned to The Nostalgia Critic in 2015 pretending to act and rap like Vanilla Ice in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) review. Additionally, he had a brief cameo in Bennett The Sage's The Guyver review and made numerous cameos on Music Movies, due to the fact that in real life at the time, he was the roommate of Paul Schuler (Paw) and Maven of the Eventide (Elisa Hansen).
